I couldn't connect my QV8000SX with an old no-USB pentium machine. I really need to save my pictures from two different locations, and one of them doesn4t have a USB port. Casio PhotoLoader bundled software does not support serial connections and suggests older QV link software. It doesn4t work either. I've also downloaded QV AutoCam (Beau Software): same null result. My serial port is OK, I always use it to connect a notebook. Some kind of connection exists, since the image in the camera (in play mode) dissapears for a second when I try to import it to the PC. But the 3 different programs I4ve tried with fail to establish a serial connection, at any speed, with the camera. Can someone help me with this problem or suggest a tech resource/support useful site or person?
