Unfortunately the ref was confused and thought he was in Manchester when he failed to call Scholes for blatantly trying out for the Olympic volleyball team in the box earlier on.

Not that it really would have mattered for Bradford. Amazed they didn't lose by more.

They lost the chance to catch them when Newton Heath won at Elland Road a few weeks back.....since then, in all reality, it has always been a race for second place.

Spot on ITK. As well as the points, psychologically the game at Leeds had the same impact as a certain match at SJP when Schmeichel single-handedly prevented Newton Heath from a drubbing. Amazingly ManU walked away with all 3 points that day and the rest, as they say, is history (in terms of a certain team in b&w who didn't win the championship that year).
