Weird habits as a kid...

I loved peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, but would only eat them if the peanut butter was spread on the bottom slice of bread and the jelly right on top of it. I wouldn't eat them if the pb was put on the bottom slice and the jelly on the top slice. Also, the sandwich had to be cut vertically -- if it was cut diagonally i wouldn't eat it. This habit still persists, and I'm 26 years old. Now, I won't refuse to eat a PB&J that wasn't "properly" made, but I feel weird eating it.

I would also not mix the eating order of my food. If we had steak, potatoes, and green beans for a meal, I would eat the steak first, then the potatoes, and finally the grean beans. I would never eat a bite of steak then a bit of potatoes. I no longer have this habit.

Library paste, I loved it. Probably because it was forbidden.

Weird habbits? I think this falls more under compulsions. We had this dog and for some reason, I got it in my head at some point in my young life that she was dirty (probably my grandmother constantly saying "filthy dog"), so everytime she as much as walked by I would go wash my hands. I must admit that I still wash my hands quite frequently.

To this day I still have my weird habit, I just don't do it much. I shake my head from left to right, as if I was saying "no". I do it when im sad, happy, sleepy, bored, hungry, and anxious. I can watch TV doing it, only a skill a person like me can gain, i've had 18 years of practice. :) I just keep my eyes on the screen while my head moves. I use to do it in the car ( don't worry, not while driving) but I dont do it anymore.
