I have a Nikon Coolpix 990 on order and am wondering about accessories. I'm an old SLR User and want my old stand bys. Namely, a GOOD polarizer, and some acessory lens. A water proof case would be nice as well. Any 950 users come accross any good sources?

My friend uses a waterproof Pelican Case for his Oly 650 and accessories. It's very nice with cut-out foam. Looks to be strong enough to drive over with a truck! Various sizes come in different colors. Don't have a source. You can find many online sources by searching for "Pelican Case".

have you looked at the coolpak that is part of the coolpix accessories? they come with 4 28mm filters, circ polarizer is included. if not go to ckcpowers.com and get a 28 to 37mm filter.. then get your best and most expensive filters to fit on those... i actually have a 37-77mm step up that allows me to use some of my larger ones ;)
