midol/superhero/mascara/look/cookies

greenspun.com : LUSENET : It's All About Joe 90: The Discussion Board : One Thread

uhhh... it's a very bad thing to listen to the superhero/mascara/look combo at work while PMSing. very, very bad.

i just had the urge to tell one of my water heater calling customer type people to go out and buy Dream This, because Chris' voice was sounding more beautiful than usual, and it was the "breaking you dowwwwn" part of mascara, and i was all weepy and...and and...and well i'm PMSing FOR THE LOVE OF CORN and i'm not really too rational right now.

i did not, however, tell the water heater calling customer type person to go buy Dream This. but i thought of telling him that i'd send it to him free with the purchase of one of our fine surge protection systems. maybe that should be our new campaign? or maybe Joe 90 should offer a free surge protection system with the purchase of Dream This.

energy is my life.

btw, Erin...there's a link under the submit button where you can expire your cookies (that sounds remarkably like a euphemism for hurling, doesn't it?). tell me if it doesn't work, and i'll email the Greenspun guy who runs Lusenet.

i said i don't like ed no more,

well shit, i'm contributing an answer. don't i sound so formal? and good evening, how are you ma'am, are you the primary driver of the new Buick Lesabre? Oh? No? Okay, well ma'am, you can go fuck yourself, have a great day!!

sorry. my job is haunting my dreams. verbatim. make it die. my neck hurts. OKAY ONTO THE REASON IM POSTING!

Dude, i just expired my cookies! all over the floor! shit! Thank you aimee for the tip :]

now that you've brought up mascara, i wanted to comment on this. I know i had in the past, mentioned that Mascara was the only track on Dream This (do you ever want to say Dream This bitch!? cos i do all the time!), that i always skip and .... ::insert horrified look:: really, REALLY didn't like. and heres my deal with it now, because you all care so much, yes? Now, i still have the urge to skip it...but if i manage to get past the initial "lip line moves part" (that line gives me osco, i can't help it. it makes me twitch. bad visual or something), and get into the "breaking you down" part i really like the song. Everytime i let it play through i'm always pleasently surprised. So, yay for me right?

ANd i just want to point out, that aimee said for the love of corn, which makes me piss everywhere everytime you say it..and so thank you for todays mandatory piss of laughter. Lookit me, i'm a fountain!

ok so maybe this was a waste of space, but at least it was lengthy, and not a two liner, yes? Today is a good depeche mode day. i dont like being on the phone for 7 hours. someone give me a frickin headset so my neck isnt cramped like a bitches pony (WHAT!???)

okay, i think im hyper. signing off! ERINdolll. wheeeeeee. eat my pussy. MWAH.

ok, so while i've never actually skipped mascara, i'll admit it's not one of my favorites either... although i am very fond of the "breaking me down" part.

and i am ever so happy to see new tour dates listed. but i'm also very, very confused. 4/7 Los Angeles, CA/Arcadia and 4/8 Indianapolis, IN/Wabash College. how? how? how is that possible? it's like a 35 hour drive, isn't it? in one day? i have all the faith in the world in these guys, but... how? how? are they actually going to fly for once? don't make me think. my head hurts and i have a nyquil hangover.

oh and in the dictionary under the definition of pitiful there is now a picture of me at 1:30 this morning coughing so hard i thought i was going to expire my cookies (great euphemism aimee!) and being reduced to tears because i couldn't get the child proof cap off the bottle of nyquil. i was ready to gouge a hole in the side with a knife and just suck it out.

happy friday, everyone!

kristin-san!!! why are you toying with me??? i don't see an indiana date anywhere! am i a spaz? am i retarded? am i psycho?? okay, yes, yes, and yes.....but i can read, dammit!

i'm sorry you were crying over your nyquil. i can totally relate. i have repressed memories of something similar. they're too tragic to totally recall, but i do remember the feeling of despair and utter defeat.

feel better soon, all you coughers and pms-ers!

They'd better be flying from LA to Indianpolis... I need that Indianapolis date! My mom already seems like she is going to take me (and Britt)... this would be very good. We have relatives out there so it's a good excuse to get my dad to come along too (not to the concert, but if he goes on the trip with us, he won't complain as much =^).

People suck... so I need a Joe 90 concert. Especially people who you're trying to forget but dream about anyway. How unfair is that?

Jessica

P.S. Hmm, where do you think they'll be going between Indianapolis (8th) and Houston (15th)? A straight line between those cities or do you think they'll go off to the east a bit (Ohio -- hint, hint)?

(okay, i'm posting too much today.. i'm sorry! i haven't posted in awhile so do i rack up posting privileges? ;)) i checked and it looks as though the college isn't exactly in indianapolis... it's fifty miles northwest. anyone know anything about this college? i checked out their website and it seems to have a pretty, quaint campus. i emailed them, so perhaps they'll provide more info...

-- jessica (rainqueen1228@yahoo.com), March 24, 2000.

i checked out their website, too.

wabash college: home of the little giants!

it's an all male liberal arts college. all the email addresses have 'brother' before the names. this could be interesting. at least they have a l/g/b club on campus, so they can't be too weird.

anyway, they also have a college radio station, which i tried to call, but all the circuits to the station were busy. i just called again, and pushed the emergency number for campus security. the guy said he didn't think anyone was at the radio station, but he'd go over and check, and have them call me back if there was. wow! those indiana people sure are helpful!

okay, well, now it's 8:30 and i was supposed to leave for home about an hour ago (actually, i was going to sneak out early at round 5:30, but i decided to get some work done instead...) so, anyway, now i have to wait around a bit to see if anyone calls me back.

here's the deal....i'm gonna run and pee, and then come back by my desk. i'll wait for 20 minutes at the most, and if i hear anything, i'll let you guys know. deal?

you know..........it would be a lot easier if gary or craig would just let us know wtf is going on!!!

ttysooooooooooon, ~chris (darn it....i waited too long to go pee, and now i'm afraid to leave my desk!)
