Emergency landing at airport RENO, Nevada, March 22  The same plane makes two emergency landings at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport within a time span of hours. The first emergency landing happened just after 10:00 Tuesday night as the Fed-Ex 727 was flying out to Oakland from Reno. After making an emergency landing in Reno, it continued its route to the bay area. Then just three hours later the plane made another unexpected landing while returning to the Reno. Details are slim at this hour but what is known so far is that a pilot reported a smell of smoke in the cockpit.

The three people on board, in both cases, did not suffer any injuries when the plane landed. Officials at the airport say that they dont know what may have caused the smoke.
