Paul Arnison has joined Hartlepool permanently. There was no transfer fee as the club appear happy just to have him off the books.

Well that's 2 of the 13 listed players gone for nothing. Well sort of. As Stephen Caldwell who was transfer listed signed a one contract.

Which was probably a good idea. As who would have played for the NUFC reserves next year? if all of them are sold or given away over the summer.

We'll finally have the players in the first team squad who don't make the first 11 doing something for a living. It's been ridiculous watching all the crap on display when better players do nothing but train and sit on the bench. Make them realise that it's important to represent the club at any level and that the reserve team has a decent status; if you pack it with rubbish it'll be an insult to play there. Shoot Perez and move forwards, that's what I say.

Just wondering who is going to be in the reserve team next year if the now 12 transfer listed players are sold.

Keeper - ? Karesle

Defenders - David Beharall, Steve Caldwell, Hughes and Griffin.

Midfielders - Jamie McClen, Brian Kerr and Stuart Green.

Strikers - Pual Robinson.

Well that leaves plenty of room for someof the bairns to step up or first teamers to get some practice.
