The information http://megamyth.homestead.com/ provides seems highly interesting and relevant to all digicam users. In short, it seems that there is something funny about the marketing schemes of the current batch of still digicams, to say the least.

Has anybody else tried to replicate the tests described, particularly the Photoshop sub-sampling - interpolation cycle? I have not tried it out yet myself, but the Myths site is very thought-provoking.
