Before it gets out of hand

None of us really believes that we lost the last two cup finals because of where the fans were situated at Wemberly. Do we ?

It couldn't possibly have had anything at all to do with the effects of two of the duffest managers it's ever been our misfortune to have had to defend to outsiders. That would be far to simplistic.

No. It has to be some spooky superstition thing. If it's as clear cut as that, why are we all desperately trying to get our hands on tickets - or rathet those of us who aren't already feeling really smug. :-))

No, absolute bollocks, the two finals I attended in the 70's we were in the opposite end and still lost. This year with the best manager, the best team and the best fans we will surely triumph. After an awful start this season is shaping up as the best for years.

My boy Ben has a ticket this time, his watching record is exemplary, he hasn't seen us enough to even contemplate defeat.

We will win.

I remember a time when I was living in the smoke and I couldn't get to that many toon games (we were crap you know) I didn't see Newcastle win for almost two whole seasons. I was convinced that I was a jink, of course they won when I wasn't there but I only ever saw them draw or lose. Even when Chris Waddle scored 5 at QPR.

I have this superstition about our visits to Wembley...
,br> The last 2 visits I have spent watching with my mate next door (a Chewsee fan)...

I believe this certainly gives me 2 v.g. reasons to resist his invitation to watch the semi :-)

Well chelsea were quite beatable, and beaten, tonight. Very loose at the back. though Mijatovich's(sp?) free kick was amazing. Any chance we can sign him before the semi??!! Or get Nobby to watch and imitate? I was really hoping someone would crock LaPoof, instead he earned himself a yellow which now sees him suspended for the April 5 game. so he'll have a few extra days to come up with more anti-Shearer/England/Toon/Northeast whinge. I think DeGoey is our biggest problem. He's just so good...though still beatable as shown in that free kick when there was nobody defending the far post.

We can win this one! :-)

Tell me ma, me ma.....that I still need a ticket if anyone's got an extra!! :-D
