Glitch yes; Y2K no

This is confusing. KARE-11 insiders say they had a Y2K29 computer glitch on Tuesday's Leap Year date. News Director Tom Lindner said he wishes that were true. "We were struggling to find a local angle to that story -- none existed. We did have a computer problem, but to the best of my knowledge it had nothing to do with Y2K." Any other story floating around "is nuts," Lindner said.
