Digtial film roll

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

1 - 1= year ago I found some info on the internet that a US based company had developed a digital film roll that one could use in a normal 35mm lenscamera. The advantage was that one could take high resolution digital images with the old photequipment, including lenses already invested in, without having to invest in new and expensive digital equipment. The film roll had a little square plate that was located behind the shutter and sort of crabbed the pictures and stored them inside the film roll casing. Then you could transfer them to your PC and reuse the filmroll about 100.000 times.

My problem is that I lost all my links and would like to know if you are aware of this product and if affermative can you give their website adress.

Hoping for a positive response.

Best regards Philip

It doesn't yet exist, and probably never will.
