Disaster Preparedness Reminder
Are your insurance papers in your disaster preparedness kit? Do you even have one? Even though Canadians were given plenty of advice before New Year's, the Alberta Red Cross wants to remind people to be ready for disasters. It recommends a minimum of three days' worth of food and water, some junk food (perhaps for stress relief?) a first aid kit, blankets, and insurance documents. Extras recommended for an evacuation include a battery-powered radio, playing cards and extra clothes.
