A follow on from a previous question re a replacement for the LS2000.

Where will consumer / desktop film-scanner technology advance to in the future for 35mm format ? Will scanning resolutions continue to increase or have they already hit a limit (ie due to film grain).

Answers

Hard to say-grain will be a problem for high ISO speed films.

There are some interesting technologies now that are starting to address this-we will investigate them all fully.
