I've used the Coolpix 950 and two things that bothered me were: 1.no pc connector so that I could use it with studio flash 2.when using the in-camera flash, there seems to be a 1-2 second delay between when I press the shutter and when it actually fires.

Does the 990 correct these problems?

Answers

The delay is present if you are not in focus-switch to S-AF in the LCD setup and you will tell the camera when to focus and shoot.
