Our NRHS chapter purchased a 1938 Davenport industrial locomotive from a scrapyard here in the Richmoond, Va area. Plans are to return it to service switchimg at the chapter's yard. Does anyone know of existing Davenports that are in operating condition ? Any experience repairing them ?
