Hi (again) How about jumping on the Linux bandwagon and make the 950 (&990?) OS code open source? Its not like anyone is going to rip it off and load it into their Olympus! I'm no hardcore programmer myself but I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who could enhance the functionality (and maybe the performance) of the 9xx series. I now this has occured with other bits of kit e.g. an early Yamaha sampler. Cheers RIch

While it would be nice-it could destroy the firmware-it is not as simple as source code-it's lower level.
