Delta 100 in rodinal.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : B&W Photo - Film & Processing : One Thread

Hi guy and galls. Yesterday I had to shoot some films and I got carried away a little bit. I shot 2 delta 100 on 100 iso, but I dont have the reference sheet of the rodinal I have, so I dont know how long to process it. The I shot another on 200 and another on 800 (where I got a little carried away) if any one knows the times for procesing the films Iwould really apreciate this. I dont usually use rodinal, but I need to develope this films in a hurry, and that the onyl thing I have around the house at the moment. thanks in advance. Diego K.

For push processing, looks like Xtol. Good luck. You may end up with some less-than-great negatives.

Practical Photography had an article about the quality of various films in various developers. Delta films in Rodinal didn't fare very well; they were much better developed in ID-11 or Ilfotec DD-X. (XTOL wasn't tested, unfortunately.) I realize this was a one-shot deal but you might want to look at a developer like DD-X for push processing, as it's especially good for it.

Thanks guys, this site you directed me to, is really impresive. Since I dont have time to go and buy some adecuate so it will have to be rodinal, anyway I hope to have a moment tomorow to develope it and confirm the so-so resutls.

thanks again. Diego K.
