What was Benton's reaction when he saw Carter? (warning: may contain spoilers)

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ER Discussions : One Thread

I haven't seen the episodes where Carter and Lucy get stabbed, I was just wondering what Benton's reaction was when he saw Carter lying 'unconscious' in the trauma room? And also this might be off the topic, but whats this about Carter's 'attempted' suicide or 'painkillers'? I'm from Australia so I was just wondering.

Response to What was Benton's reaction when he saw Carter?

When we first see Benton he is running down the stairs nearly knocking over everyone in his path...it was a great entrance I thought. You could see the worry on his face. I think Carter was still conscious went Benton got in the trauma room, because I remember Deb showing him the blood in the urine rather than telling him so as not to alert Carter. When Benton came in he was frantically asking for updates on Carter. It was a really great reaction by Benton I thought. You could really tell how much he cared for Carter. He wanted to be there every step of the way through surgery and post op. Hope this helps! Also, the spoilers for upcoming shows have said that Carter is going to medicate himself with painkillers and get hooked. A tabloid here also said he was going to try suicide at the season ending. Most of us on the site don't seem to think that that will happen!

Actually Carter was still unconscious when Benton first examined him. He kept yelling "Is he conscious?" and Luka answered "No, but he responding to fluid resusitation." Carter became conscious when Deb was examining his pupils. At that point Benton was doing a trach on Lucy.

I don't know anything about spoilers because I haven't seen anything written that's reliable, only speculation here and that's been related from tabloids.
