Love it!!

I think I could probably run off with a corset salesman, if he could teach me HTML.

-- gilda (jess@listbot.com), March 16, 2000.

gilda, html is easy. If an old dog like me can be self taught, ANYONE can learn it!

nifty java commands (won't work unless java is enabled).

If you view the "source code" of pages like this, you can "see" what type of code is running, and you can just copy it to use it yourself.

After Mutha inspired me to try this stuff out, I found some killer pages on scripting. It is kind of fun to do, to. In a couple of months, you can be doing "purty" html stuff as well!

(does this qualify as a corset?)

Made me laugh and laugh!!!! Uncle. Hi Gilda,...I hear you "vas looooking for me." Html is easy...really just a text formatting language,...the graphics things are done much better with more advanced languages...but I digress. Strictly aside, I was just made project supervisor of our new web design/technology in the arts division at my company...on the horizon...digital storytelling...all the multimedia additions to the simple html documents. Be amazed.

Me,..I'm happy with the simple!

I see the clue...convergence! Now which of my universe-thinking online friends are you...LOL!!

I don't think you realize that I know that isn't great HTML or anything. It wasn't supposed to be. I just needed something that as soon as you clicked on the thread it was different. So that is what I did. Yes other languages like JAVASCRIPT allow you to do a lot more stuff. Computer languages are fairly easy. I am actuall supposed to be making some small company's web site. Macromedia stuff could make it look really cool, but I will probably use simple HTML with some simple JAVASCRIPT. The other reason I showed the TABLE is that TABLES are used on almost very good website. They are built from TABLES withing TABLES. A lot of sites use them and I think that is one of the most useful things. Just my reasons. Congrats on your new job.

Its pretty clear that "pick@pick" is an ameture, I should have warned you that you can't alway cut and paste code. without knowing what you are doing, you can f^*% things up pretty bad. You should take some time and LEARN what you are doing, before you just cut and paste. Geez, if your not careful you will wind up like the y2k "experts"---they thought they knew what they were talking about, to! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

(If OFR wants to "fix" this thread, the problem is in picks post with the "don't click here" and "danger" posts in them. there are breaks and apostophies where there shouldn't be.)

-- Super Polly (FU_Q_Y2kfreaks@hotmail.com), March 17, 2000.

whups, I should have said "the problem starts in pick's...."

There are two posts below that ("wanna help me pick my nose?" & "ewwww!") that are filled with nonsense. That code won't work under this forums guidelines.

Ameture, it looks like the only "snakes" you are making are the ones you flush!

Donna -

Weeeeeell, we used to be in the same neighborhood, then you went and moved over to cable and all. Waaaaay back when, y'see.

I have a question. What is this board supposed to be about? All I see is a bunch of posts that look like news. I haven't actually bothered to go through and read them, but is that what this board is? Also, thanks to everyone here, that didn't spaz because I posted a message. So people didn't find it as humorous as you. I know you still made fun of it and HTML, but thanks.
