$2 A GALLON NEXT?

Gas prices are rising faster than at any time since the Mideast oil crisis more than 20 years ago. Bay Area stations have raised prices on average by 34 cents a gallon for self-serve unleaded fuel since February, with prices hitting $1.90 a gallon in San Francisco. The most expensive is Eureka -- at $2 a gallon.
