$2.00 a disc!? What are they made of gold? Geez man, that's expensive. What makes these things so premium quality? I use Memorex 8x cd-rs that don't have labels on them so people can use their cd-printers and I've never had any problems with them playing in my standalone Sony DVP-S500D and they come in 50 disc spindles at $50 ($1/disc). $2/disc is expensive even for most cd-rw discs.

Ray,

Almost $2/disc is indeed very costly. The type I am currently using, which is an oem model, is only $5.30 for 10 pieces. I have used them to burn many data, audio and video cds without any problem.

What's the selling point of your model?
