GEORGE WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY Y2K GROUP PANEL PROGRAM LOOKS AT CURRENT Y2K-RELATED TECHNOLOGY PROBLEMS: IS Y2K PAST OR IS IT AN ISSUE THAT REQUIRES CONTINUING ATTENTION?

EVENT: There have been numerous post January 1st plane and train crashes,nuclear power plant problems, chemical and manufacturing plant explosions and fires, refinery and pipeline explosions and fires, and fuel shortages.

Is the number of these larger than usual? Are any of these Y2K or embedded systems related? If so, why is there not continued public attention to these issues? Are public health and safety being compromised by insufficient public attention? Are public officials aware of the nature of the problems that are occurring? Two Wednesday Evening Panel Programs sponsored by The George Washington University's Y2K Group will discuss these concerns. A third program may be scheduled in May.

Will he ask RODMAN, "Why do you think Y2knewswire left the Y2k scene after publicizing your theories about Y2k?"

Will he ask GORDON, "Why didn't Jim Lord come this time?"

When they got a bit warm in the 2nd floor Broom closet this conference is moved to, will they consider holding the next one at Bob Jones University?

Will Paula Gordon cry during or after the session as she hears all the reports of the troubles caused by non-y2k related events.

Let's see... a person from World Net Daily asking questions of a group of individuals with a pre-rollover stake in Y2K. Hmmm... wonder what conclusion they will reach? (laughter)

Gordon managed to "build" her panel without including the FAA (plane crashes), DOT (train crashes), DOE (nuclear power), NERC (power plant problems), or any representative of a major private firm in airlines, rail, power, chemical, manufacturing or petroleum. In fact, there is no one on her panel that represents a primary data source for the events she wants to discuss.

So, what you'll have is a tabloid journalist asking questions to a small group of people who do not hold leadership positions in any of the primary areas of inquiry. How about talking to people who actually RUN the systems that have experienced problems. Oh, don't tell me, we CAN'T trust the people who actually run the airlines and railroads and power plants to tell us the truth.

Yup... it's clear they lied to us last year when they said they were Y2K ready. (laughter)

When is Paula Gordon going to find a new topic to milk?
