I've seen the option for zero-padded AVI/Mpg files..... are they really useful? Especially in creating VCDs?

it is not usfull ,it disrurb the signal we can notice this as we take the psd of signal s(t)=100sin(1000t) +2sin(1200t)+n(t) --->where n(t) is a random gaussian noise we can notice a 2 peak witout zero padding but with zero padding the curve will be more smooth and the weak sin will disapear.
