I started watching ER during season 4/5, and also watch TNT re-runs. Still, I cannot figure out when Harper was a characrter on the show (ie: which seasons) and also, what was her relationship with Carter? Any info would be great.

Harper came on somewhere in season 2. She was not in the main cast (I don't think), but she got a lot of screen time. Carter and her dated, she slept with Doug one night after an emotional trauma, they vaguely got back together after awhile, but then Dale got in the way. Carter started getting competitive with Dale, both professionally and with harper, and then things kind of fell apart with them and she moved to Texas (I heard...don't know why).

Harper's last episode was "Fevers of Unknown Origin", one of the last three episodes of Season Two. She went to Dallas, TX for an OB rotation. Carter told her he would miss her.
