okay so my purpose of this post is this. this is semi-relevant to kellys "my dad is a big fan" post. hehe. a lot of you know about my mom. shes a big hugeassbeatlesfreak. mainly a paul fan. and ive been telling her a bit about the band (we e-mail cos she lives in phoenix. hint: I NEED TO VISIT HER!! hi.) and she really wanted to hear them - so i sent her half of dream this and 1.3 of each gods child album to tempt her to buy more.

and im so happy! my mom NEVER likes the same stuff as me!! lookit "honestly? I was very pleasantly surprised. I heard myself going "I could like these guys" And then after I got to the end of the cd I KNEW i could like these guys. Tell them they do a killer cover of why dont we do it in the road." so that right there made me very :D :D :D yay! it just makes me happy okay? and then later on i got this!: "Ok I listened to the cd 3 times at work last night and here is my decision. I really like Joe90......seriously. I wasn't expecting their music to be as harmonic as it is. They have great voices...So you have my approval of Joe90 and not just because they like my Paul. I am gonna listen again tonight

i dont know why this makes me really happy, but it does. and the other night i was playing the cd while i was being all domestic and cleaning house and my dad was like "who is this? this is good" and that made me very :D and i put blurred on a tape for my stepmom and she was like "thats not bad."

so i guess that answers the parent question from a few days ago, no?

hey lookit me i might see bob dylan tonight. i wish i liked bob dylan. i wish i had money.

okay im taking a poll. should i go see the charlatans? i really want to but i have no one to go with, and no $$.

but im on my 4th consecutive day listening to this album. and with every song im like "hi i love them" so yeah. today im quite fond of watching you. but senses is still. mmm.
