I'm looking for Linux compatible digital cameras and, if available, source code for the serial communication with it. I'm a researcher working on computer interface to control digital camera functions remotely. I need to implement the application in Linux and therefore need a camera that will work under Linux. (or preferably the source code in C that I can modify according to my purpose)

hi, the Kodak DC220/260/265/290 digital cameras work with OpenDIS and with Linux+USB.
