More BBS stuff from Dunc; particularly to Eddie

Hi everyone,

Please, don't anyone waste any time trying to do any off-line code rewrites for HTML/presentation reasons. Everything you see here is generated on the fly from an Oracle database, so attempting to apply presentation over the top simply won't work.

cheers

So...you mean that this oracle stuffs can't be framed? I though one of the rules on HTML's programming is to allowing every single link into a frame or non-frame set. Can we just separated the threads categories and daily thread? Make a new question windowed on a different page and then when someone finished with his/her thread then the new window can be closed and they returned back to the main page and reload them...oh! Maybe this one has small problem...hmmm, how about it Screach?

Hey Dunc! You mean we can't put any HTML tags in our postings? Surely not. I mean, I couldn't show you all a picture of the lovely Maria in bed with Lancaster Red.

Or were you talking about changing he layout???

Eddy. Hey mate - I just dabble. I'm not a pro like yourself and Rik!

Eddie, it's not a question of HTML, but that the data is grabbed from a database. The HTML it produces is rudimentary right now, and tied up with lots of SQL code. It's a question of time really; bear with me and I'll do what I can.

Is a time stamp a possibility? Especially on the 'recent answers' list.

Windy; I need to do some jiggery-pokery to add a timestamp; the box is in Boston, MA which is five hours behind us.....don't wanna set everyone's clock off do I?
