I like most things about this site and I thank Duncan for all the hours (I'm sure it will soon be days) that he's put on this site. BUT we're going to have probs on match days because it takes about a minute for new messages to make it up. So when the webcast is down it's going to be a nightmare for expats!!! Any suggestions Duncan or will everyone be coming over to the MSN site?

The inserts to the DB are committed instantly; not quite sure why you're experiencing a one minute time-lag here. Can you describe how the lag is exhibited; you may have a cacheing problem. Certainly I can see all commits to the DB in real-time, and we're looking at an average insert time of 2 milliseconds.

I received emails to say that people had responded but then checked on here and nothing came up I refreshed a few times berfore they came up. It's maybe a caching problem, if it is how would I solve it? I'm fairly computer illiterate Thanks
