Hey Flint, can you give us a link to your "Flint's Take" on the old forum, you know, the one where you predicted partial TEOTWAWKI, so we can see what an arrogant windbag you are?

Somehow I doubt you really *want* an illustration of how it's possible to LEARN by paying attention over time. I noticed that someone earlier pasted an 18-month-old quote of mine into a thread, but was a bit too dense to recognize what the date on that quote actually meant.

If you really are interested in learning, send me a private email. MY name and address have always been real, since I've never had anything to hide or any reason to do so.

Hey, stop it, Detector.

Read it yourself.

For many (myself included) his analysis was squarely middle-of-the- road and one of (if not THE best) models for adjusting preparations that TB ever produced.

And he did offer it in January 1999, not at the last minute.

What a nightmare your life must be! Sort of like having a nose that can smell itself, y'know?

So Detector, where's that link? Too lazy to dig it up yourself?

-- (huh?@huh?.huh?), March 07, 2000.

Fuggedaboudit, Flint.

I suspect that's the same "archiver" that's been tailing both of us.

A friend of mine just e-mailed me and told me to ignore it, even if it doesn't go away, it doesn't have any power.

No one who starts a fight does.

Well, let's see:

We had numerous White Papers presented.

We had several chapters from books presented.

We had MANY excerpts presented from csy2k.

We had several extremely long essays presented by someone whose name I can't remember, but the last was entitled something like "I was wrong about Y2k. It will be FAR worse." There were also the endless reports from someone interested in LED's, tuna, and donuts.

Would the above be included in the "windbag" category by the person whose nose can smell his nose?

September 1998, yeh that was a long time ago, but quite funny.

go back to "camp," Hawk. Don't let the screen door hit your behind on the way out.

I guess the Ladylogic attacks are subsiding and the Flint attacks are going to pick up.

If there was anyone who has maintained an evenhanded, well founded view of what would happen with Y2K, it's Flint. That's one of the reasons a lot of were suprised when he was banned at TB2000 II. Sorry Arrogant, Hawk, or whoever, but you're totally wrong on this one. Not that you didn't already know that, of course.

-- Jim Cooke (JJCooke@yahoo.com), March 07, 2000.

Wrong, Cooke.

You will notice that a big chunk of we doomers support Flint.

You can start searching IP addresses to single out the Flint-bashers.

You're quite obviously a newbie.

Arrogant Windbag Detector: Post it when you find it. You don't have to call anyone names, just post it and let their words do their talking for them.

Hi Flint,

Hey Flint, what do you want to argue about next?

Very big grin <:)))=

-- Sysman (y2kboard@yahoo.com), March 08, 2000.

Lisa,

My post doesn't say that doomers as a group ever attacked Flint. It doesn't even allude to it. And I don't believe it. I was responding Arrogant, not trying to tar doomers with his brush. And no, I'm not a newbie.

I'm going to assume that you're just having a bad night.

-- Jim Cooke (JJCooke@yahoo.com), March 08, 2000.

Hey "bigmouth@home", don't go accusing me of posting something that someone else posted you asswipe dipshit.

If I want to call Flint an arrogant windbag, I'll do it.

Flint is an arrogant windbag with a head that is overinflated more than the bubble.com Nasdaq stock market.

See?

-- Hawk (flyin@high.again), March 08, 2000.

I guess it's alright to be a little arrogant, as long as you know what your talking about.
