At least for now. There's still a bit of panic and searching for options on Communicata. I'm getting a few emails from those who don't want to lose touch. If we're happy lets start a thread on Communicata BBS and post our brief support for this site so people know where we are. If we're still not sure can we debate it here and reach a quick decision.

I thank the others (K, Kegsy,Rik etc) who have offered alternatives, and put in an awful lot of work, but I'm beginning to feel spoilt for choice and I don't want us to scatter to various boards. Opinions friends?

This has quite a nice feel - not sure I like the way the answers are displayed running downwards. COuld be very cumbersome when we have a huge 100plus thread etc

Seems Communicata is going down as I speak - blank pages and error messages. It's liking I'm sitting in relative safety in a lifeboat, with all you guys and gals, knowing we're safe for the moment, but drifting aimlessly.

Anyway that's enough sentimental crap. I suggest if we're to make a new home work, we all need to make an initial effort. Softie, are you going to transfer your Corinthian competition to this site? Things like that would attract a critical mass to keep on coming back and make it feel less temporary.

If you mean the alpha.communicata addy, I just tried and got the same depressing message. It's like the passing of a close relative or good friend. Just being hit in the face with the message. *sigh*

But it's a relief to see so many familiar faces on here. Thanks again Duncan for this new home! I think we all owe you pints....lay in a good supply of your favorite hangover remedy, it's going to be a long session. ;-))

I'm still here Galaxy. Just trying to get used to the new format. We missed you last week on the match thread, only me Ciara,Kegsy and a few others. Everyones still shaking themselves down and spitting out salt water after the quick sinking of the Bbs. It'll take a few weeks to get things together. Just in time for the cup final eh!!!
