Convert TV image to digital

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

I am looking for a device or board to convert TV images to digital. I won't to grab a few frames a enhance and print them.

I thought I had seen devices like this in computer catalogs, but can not find any now.

Any info on this subject would be appreciated. TIA

Check out the ATI All-In-Wonder Pro (w/built in TV Tuner). This comes with software that allows you to grab images from off the air. You can feed and antenna, or a signal from your standard (not digital) cable service. If you already have a TV with video out - then I recommend the OSPREY 100 card. It's small, simple and requires no IRQ. It's a little harder to find - but at around 150 US dollars it's a very nice card.

Check this site out, it's called Snappy, I think this is what you are looking for.
