Where Do I Find It?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Kentlands : One Thread

Does anyone know of a store that sells shopping pull carts that will carry 2 or 3 bags of groceries? We have been searching for some time, but have not been able to find one.

I've seen several versions at Bed, Bath and Beyond at the Gaithersburg Sq. shopping center. Also, maybe McGruder's sells them.

Good luck and good idea. I'm still using my backpack when I walk to Giant to make my small purchases. I don't recommend this to everyone because a gallon of milk can get kind of heavy.

Thanks for the suggestions, Bob. Vic and I will check out these two stores this weekend. My problem is, I go in for a carton of milk and wind up with two or three bags full of groceries to carry home.

Mary: You might want to check out panniers for your bike. The sizes I have, which I purchased at Bikes USA, will each carry about a bag full of groceries.

Good luck!

One thing you might try out is using the Internet to find these. You might try searching from yahoo or lycos.

Found it! Ironically, in a hardware store in a community with no sidewalks.
