Why Don't We Do it in Philly???

greenspun.com : LUSENET : It's All About Joe 90: The Discussion Board : One Thread

home from philly....out of all of the shows I've seen in the past month, i think this is the one i'm the most glad i didn't miss. thank you guys, you have no idea what a wonderful surprise the setlist was.

this is the real world?, lift me up (thank you again!), ferris wheel, silver sky pilot, super hero, and when i die, drive (jill, what am i missing?)

they tried to fake us out by doing the intro egg paper thing. good job, i was shocked. i expected blurred. and erin, the first thing i thought of was you because i know how much you've been into this is the real world lately :)

oh yeah, to erin and anyone else we may have called.....I'M SORRY! (in the voice) really really sorry, i wouldn't have wanted to talk to us :) i hope you were at least amused.

even though they were all very hurtful to me and tried to levitate me among other things, i'm so glad i got to do this last show with (most of) the original boston girls. it was really a special night, thank you all for being so wonderfully insane. i love you girls.

it was also great to meet jeff, thank you again for everything! and lori b too :)

i'm sure there's much more i'll want to say about this whole thing later but right now i just can't think straight. adam, chris, gary, craig...thank you for sharing so much of yourselves with us. i can't wait for the next time, hopefully it'll be soon! (and next time i'll expect to see some new dance moves and maybe a brown suit or pleated leather pants, ok???)

love-

philly was my 18th joe90 show. and through the entire show i kept thinking how if i had missed it i would have had to kill myself. i can't even begin to describe how amazing it was. you just had to be there. (sorry erin :( i wish you could have been there too) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

jill, sue, barb and aimee - i'm so glad i got to share it with you. i still think it's funny how just a week before the show i was begging for someone to go with me. ("come on. it's on a friday. and it's ONLY 5 hours.") and then suddenly you were all in. i should have known i wouldn't have to do it alone. i'm so glad you're all as insane as i am. i love you guys. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

erin, i won't apologize for calling you. it was fun. and i think you were very entertained. however, i am sorry we sang "omaha" for you. we probably ruined the song forever, didnt' we? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

this is the first time since i started seeing joe90 that i haven't known when my next show would be. i don't like the feeling. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

i'm sorry if this ends up as one big mess of a run on paragraph. it's my home computer. i have no control over formatting. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

gary, craig, chris and adam - thank you all for everything. i'd drive hours to see you g

that should say - i'd drive hours to see you guys play anytime.

i just can't win with this thing. it either cuts off my posts or smooshes them into a big mess. i never know what to expect. and now, despite the 14 hours sleep i got last night, i think i'm going back to bed.

i'm glad you girls had fun! i knew you'd take philly over your knee and slap it's ass and call it charlie. because that's just the type of thing that boston girls do, right?

i am currently in research paper HELL and sending jill brainwave messages for her to wake the hell up or stop doing work so i can get some more details for the philly extravaganza! :)

gary was in my dream last night. he was in my kitchen, getting a bowl of cereal. it was most random.

and i'm off!

Well Friday was my first Joe90 show... and definatly not the last :) Adam, Gary, Craig, Chris (in no particular order) you guys rock! It was nice to finally meet you guys after hearing Jeff say nothing but great things about you all. And to the Boston girls - nice to meet you all too - I'm sure I will see you all again also! Phily was fun (first time there) glad I made the road trip to see Joe90. Hope you guys had a safe and enjoyable trip to Alabama!

Writing from Baltimore, Becca

BTW - pro bootleg Boston girl (sorry - don't remember your name) don't forget Jeff :)

yay i love being mentioned in posts.

dont you guys apologize at ALLLLLLLL for calling me!!! it was the most frickin hilarious thing i had heard in a LONG time. i almost felt like i was there. especially when i was just listening..."HELLO!" hehe.

and thank YOU guys for talking to me in the morning "im sleeeeeeeepy." and then more phone calls last night and i miss you guys SOOOO much its not even remotely funny :p

however, i think apologies for the "omaha" singalong were quite appropriate. i had no escape from that one. hahahahahah :p

okay i need to go run around to the sugarcubes so i dont fall asleep on the way to my potential job. goodmorning all. hi two hours of sleep just ISNT enough unless youre on a concert adrenaline rush. ugh.
