Lucy's Valentine

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ER Discussions : One Thread

Hi...I for one am still mourning the demise of Lucy and hoping that the character of her mother becomes a regular and thus ties Lucy and her memory to ER for a few more months. I think it would be most interesting to have Lucy's mother become a kind of counsel for the tortured soul of Carter as he sorts through his guilt and memories of Lucy. Anyway, back to my point. Someone mentioned Carter reading Lucy's valentine from Yosh and knowing what it said. What did Lucy's valentine say??? It flashed by so quickly I didn't catch it and unfortunately I didn't tape the episode. T

This isn't a verbatim account, but it was something like "Lucy, Happy Valentine's Day, From, Yosh". Hope this helps!

I believe that someone on the Warner Brother's ER website (ertv.com) posted a message about Lucy's valentine. You might want to check there. The message said something about Lucy being a sweet friend, I think.

At the top it was addressed "Lucy" and at the bottom, signed "Yosh Takada". I don't know what the printed message said.

Are you talking about the Valentine that Carter picked up when he walked into the room, right before he was stabbed? I was wondering about that Valentine too! I thought the demented Paul Sobreki? gave that to her as part of his twisted stabbing rampage.

Well, the Warner Bros site was down for like 4 days, but now it's up again. Here's the post that someone posted last week about the card (below). (They froze each frame to read it.) Someone else said that they saw Yosh's cards in other scenes as well.

"For those who care, and love details like me, the following is the message that was on the Valentine card Carter picked up off the floor in "Be Still My Heart" --

Lucy,

For a friend who's everything beautiful. A wish for everything wonderful.

Happy Valentines Day.

with love,

Yosh Jakata
