Why do you even reference me on your board? If you read my comments at Biffy or Debunky's about this place, you definitely know what I think of most of you. And I'm no longer interested in this or any other TB2000 "alternative forumns" such as the one you reference. I didn't even know it existed until I clicked on the link given above.

Also, I am not Y2K pro. The sysops who stalk this forumn's "enemies" thru the server log/IPs of posters should know that...or maybe you do...and you just want to use someone else to prod your regulars into huddling closer...trying to get them to believe they are under "attack" from me too. I've never spammed your forumn. I no longer care about this place....and especially wouldn't care to spend my time on any "alternative TB2000 forumns". I have been a poster in the past, under different screen names, whose views were often not welcome or wanted here. For quite some time now, I have had no interest in posting on your board....or any other related TB2000/Yourdon sites. I don't care for censored forumns.

However, I don't really care to be confused with anyone else. Or even mentioned on your board...which I despise. Again, I have posted at your forumn with other handles way back when I was a regular here.

Genius, codeslinger@work.now and DominantSniper@yahoo.com were my two main ones. And in case you didn't know, many of my post under those two handles were designed to "probe" the doomer mentality and memes for insight.

IMO, I think you have enough real enemies to worry about thought policing their post. I don't care to bother with you people. Just that simple. You either know or should know thru the server logs that I am not Y2K Pro. So don't refer to me as anyone else but who I am. Better yet, don't refer to me at all....especially not falsey saying I am part of some "alternative TB2000 forumn" which I am not. And, make damn sure about ANYTHING you post about me...and I would prefer you not post at all about me. I despise this place and the thought policing and censorship this place is known for too much. Wonder what a jury and judge would think of what went on here?

Plus, I still have the "unmoderated/unrevised" thread and post where I believe Diane Squire tried to intimidate me into not posting on this forumn by threatening to "tell some reporters about my posting"...and/or "contact my employer about my posting"...thus, I believe violating my civil rights by trying to intimadate me into not posting on your board (partially supported by FEDERAL FUNDS via MIT resources used) last year....

I have no interest in making a Federal Case out of it...at the moment...unless you people here piss me off some more. So, I recommend not pissing me off any further than you have with your heavy handed, thought police and "outing" tactics....the discovery process would reveal more than you folks want, I suspect....and anything I COULD make public that my attorney managed to move into the public record...such as server log info...like the regular's IP adresses would manage to become public knowledge, I suspect.....and then might be put on the web for any other interested parties to see...

Might reveal more about what went on behind the scenes than you folks desired, wouldn't it? Make sure to save any e-mail about this incident too...I suspect it would be discoverable evidence also...you wouldn't want to destroy evidence, would you? Don't modify the archives either! Might be hard to explain why the "differ"...convieniently....from the copies I have locked in a vault...with time stamps...the same threads....at different times.

And I WOULD most likely go after ANYBODY else shown to share in Squire's "decision(s)"/"action(s)" before during or after the fact...in any way actionable under the various doctrines of tort and civil rights law.

I DO have the evidence in safe keeping. So suggest you NOT piss me off any further. I would NOT be adverse to giving a lawyer 99% contingency fee just to see justice done against the thought police here. I sugest you do not underestimate me or think these are idle words. They are not. I am DEAD SERIOUS. When I go to war, I am of the mindset of NOT leaving one brick fastened to another when "laying waste" to my enemies.

So DON'T pick a fight with me by telling the people here I am somebody I am not. Or in any way slandering or defaming me. In fact, I don't want myself or any of my screen names ever mentioned in this thought policed place again. Period.

So...if you don't WANT to make an enemy out of me who just MIGHT cause you a LOT OF GRIEF, frequent flyer miles to my Federal District courthouse, and legal expenses, then lay off falsely accusing me of being somebody else, or in any other way commiting any actionable torts or violations of my civil rights. This is the only warning I am giving you. Cease and desist.

Gee, Mr. Polly, Codeslinger, sniper - you might want to talk to the attorney before you start to indicate what your options are.

the kind of action you are discussing is considered a tort.

these things are designed to redress damages.

You need to show FIRST some DAMAGES, Then some CAUSALITY, then some INTENT/Negligence.

Being totally anonymous, you are gonna have a REAL problem with the damages part. The rest falls apart from there.

And you can trust me on this one as I have defended myself and my bride against a number of lawsuits. got to the point that if there wasn't a new one filed this month we wondered what had happened. Course, we're paramedics, so that might explain the targeting.

Diane, you couldn't be more wrong. I'm disappointed with your reaction. TB2K Uncensored was started by me, a fan of Yourdon and a staunch fan of free speech, freedom of choice, and free flow of information. I don't want this to turn into a "forum war". It's another option, so everybody "wins".

I've admired your contributions on the Old TB2K from the first day you came on and came to view you as one with the most open minds. I respect your distate of chaotic forums, and I admired your energy as a sysop trying to deal with LL. But we have a difference of opinion as to why the old TB2K degenerated to the point it did. We've butted heads you and I on moderation more than once. Lets just agree to disagree and respect our choices.

I started to register at the new site, but then I read the conditions I had to accept.

No thanks. It's bad enough taking part in a forum where anyone can be censored at the whim of sysops who disagree with their particular beliefs. But to agree to accept email advertising? FORGETABOUTIT!!!

I am very interested in the uncensored forum mentioned here; why did you guys have to block its address? Afraid of the competition?

Diane, don't be defensive; you've done enough of that already. Lots of us have never tried to shut you down, and have actually attempted to preserve the integrity of the forum, through open mindedness--not censorship.

I certainly don't want you shut down now; I'm just glad that there is a new forum which DOESN'T discriminated against everyone who doesn't follow the party line.

Jump Off Joe:

I can appreciate your feelings RE the advertising question. However, I believe that in this case it is a reasonable alternative to having to procure the hardware and then charge admission or find other advertisers. I don't know if your objections extend to radio, television, cable televsion, rented VCR movies, or movies you pay to see in a theatre. I think ads on rented movies or in theatres are unacceptable, but that does not change to world.

I hope you enjoy whatever forum you decide on. I personally prefer the enforced civility of the new forum. I find it sad that civility must be imposed so strongly. I find it more sad that so many people insist they have a right to be uncivilized anywhere they see fit. :-( Bad sign in general, in my opinion, for our society as a whole.

I hope the manners of the forums you find suit you. I've found one that suits me.
