the newest version of rempeg supports svcd rez, but has no way to limit the bitrate. is there a way to manually calculate where to set the bitrate so it doesnt go over your desired max?

I read it will be included in the next release of ReMpeg I'm waiting for 'cause there is no way to get complete sync with this way on my SCVD tests...

BBMpeg12b19 uses the same engine as ReMpeg2 (maybe the other way around), and it supports SVCD also. It's slower, but it has more filtering options and it has max bitrate limit....
