Viewing digital images on a large-screen TV

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Imaging Resource Discussion : One Thread

What is the most practical method of viewing stored digital images on a large-screen TV, without having the TV linked to my computer (Mac G3)? Could CD-R or CD-RW discs be displayed from a CD player to the TV? Is there a better way?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I noticed a box in the PC Connection catalog that plugs in to any computer and then the tv. It converts the pc image to a tv image. They have a wireless remote that works up to 30 feet away. Handles resolutions up to 1280x1024. Works with any computer or notebook. You can then tape your presentations and show it anywhere.

I have not tried this solution but I thought it has merit.... if it works anywhere as good as the catalog describes. If anyone has experience with this box would be nice to here from them.

It is called TV Superscan 2 and cost $199.95 or $239.95 with remote.
