I would like to know about my relationship are not work it out so how help me that i tried to help her for stop abuse me and suggest her to go see DV Program but doesnt listen me for one year to now..Finally She went to DV Program and continue learn something. Somehow she came home and stay with me .. She and I are doing fine last weekend then yestersday she act difference other way and get wrong time for me.. I do care about her..

This is in response to the last woman's questions about her current relationship with an abusive woman. (I am responding from my own experience: I left a four-year relationship with a violent woman and have now been away from her for a year. Believe me when I tell you that I've never been happier.)

Please realize that you are a person worthy of dignity and respect; under no circumstances should you accept any other sort of behavior. If someone hits you, leave them...end of story. There is absolutely no excuse for this behavior. And, although it may be painful to leave someone whom you clearly care so much about, you are better off safe and in control of your own destiny. NO ONE has the right to harm you or demean you in any way. Please learn to love yourself and take care of yourself, and walk away from any person who chooses not to treat you in the same way. You're worth it.

I WAS IN A 4 YEAR RELATIONSHIP WHERE I WAS ABUSED PHYSICALLY, EMOTIONALLY AND VERBALLY. I WAS MADE TO FEEL LIKE THE LOWEST THING ON EARTH. WHEN I FINALLY LEFT I WAS STILL STALKED AND THREATENED. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO GET AWAY FROM HER THANKS TO SOME REALLY GREAT FRIENDS. I AM NOW IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH A WONDERFUL WOMAN WHO DOESNT REALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT I WENT THROUGH WITH HER BUT WE ARE WORKING THROUGH IT. IT HAS NOW BEEN 6 YEARS AND I STILL RELIVE SOME OF THE NIGHTMARES OF IT.
