HI I consider to use the new minolta dimage elit film scanner. Does someone used it? How it compared agains Nikon ls-2000 or another good scanners> Thanks Darom Meir

We're supposed to be getting a 'Scan Elite to test soon. (Of course, with our current load, when we actually get around to testing it is another matter!) Jonathan's comment below is probably indicative though: The Scan Speed was a solid unit, lacking only the digital ICE and multi-pass scanning for noise reduction...

I use the scan speed. It has similar specs. The elite allows multi-pass scanning and also has the digital ice feature. I am quite happy with the quality of the scan speed, it is quite close to the nikon in terms of quality, however I do miss the ability to remove defects from my slides that I would have gotten from the elite.
