Many trails over Austin

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Between 8 to 10 separate trails over Austin,Tx skies today. First sighted just after 7 am til well after 3 pm. Most going east to west with a few going north to south forming crosses and hatches. Sky before trails clear ,filmy in the afternoon..They always seem to fly right after a cold/cool front has passed..The few people I've mentioned this to seem not to have noticed..I guess a lot of people don't look to the sky any more

George,

What area of Austin?

Thanks,

Don

Don, I was traveling mostly south to north Austin, Hwy 290W to Lake Travis area..trails criss crossed sky most of day..at that altitude jets may have been flying from Ft Hood to San antonio to El Paso and to other points unknown..I don't know which air bases in the central Tx area they would come from or go to,but since Bergstrom is closed to military and now commercial and at the altitude I don't think these are commercial..I have enjoyed your posts and would be interested in what you think is going on..I remember the trails years ago when I was younger and Bergstrom was military but never this many

email any photo's you have to me so I can post it on The Bunker Chemtrail site. Thanks...

Thanks for the GREAT update!!

I have to go to Dallas in a couple of weeks, and DC the week after. Would you mind terribly driving by those two areas and posting a FULL report?

Is DC spared as it's the Capitol, or is this a non-government thing? Maybe we could cobble together a survey of the whole country, and the place with no chemtrails--THAT'S the folks doing it!!

Lots more over central Iowa today....I think I'll just mosey over and stand in front of that bus....hmmmmm

-- Ken Jackson (kjacks@peoplepc.com), February 28, 2000.

George, thanks for your boldness in posting what you saw in the Austin area. If more people would watch the skies on a regular basis, they too might see these planes and trails going on from morning til' night and sometimes, and in some areas, through the night too.

Even though we all live in different parts of the states and Canada, if we will post our observations, perhaps we'll be able to get some kind of a handle on what's really happening.

Yes, I know there are chemtrail sites and, yes, they are a good source of information too. However, the sincerity of the TB2000 posters and the "history" we have with each other over the months and years of meeting here on a regular basis, IMHO, gives more credence to chemtrail posts on this forum as opposed to other sites... (Exception: Uncle Bob's Bunker, he's kin.)

Please keep posting on this subject and IGNORE the trolls.

-- Lurkess (Lurkess@Lurking.XNet), February 28, 2000.

George, they were heavy over Waco today as well. Like Austin, started around 7 am and continued, making ladders in the sky. Early morning sky was clear and blue; afternoon sky was smeary/overcast/cirrus cloudy.

My husband thinks I am nuts when I talk about chemtrails, so I don't discuss them with him anymore. *But*, I sure noticed him looking puzzled at supper, looking out the window at those *very* straight horizontal "clouds" lit orange by the sunset.

I, too have noticed the front connection. Since the fronts generally move west to east, I wonder the reasoning. For instance, today many of the trails were well to the east of town, meaning once the weather blew them further east they would be over very sparsely populated areas. Do you think that is intentional?

-- mommacarestx (mommacarestx@mail.com), February 28, 2000.

I traveled to south Arkansas this morning for work. When I started driving, the sky was clear blue, not a cloud in sight. But it wasn't long until I spotted the first two planes laying down nice, billowing "contrails." I saw at least five planes in all. By early afternoon, the sky was hazy, with the dispersed "contrails" still identifiable (if you looked closely and knew what you were looking at). For those of you here who deny and what's going on and ridicule those who reveal it, you're either unobservant, stupid, or govt agents. Whichever it is, the truth will eventually come out.

-- Roger (wh@t.isit), February 28, 2000.

Ms Mommacarestx:

Best I kin figger, they're taking out the sparsely populated areas first, because there are fewer people there to report the dead and the dying. Then, when they get to the cities and the population flees to the rural areas, there won't be anyone there to teach the city slickers how to survive in the wild, and those who escape the ravaging mist will croak on their own out of ignorance in how to live outside the city.

There may still be time, if we can bunker in deep enough, but I just don't know anymore.

george- good post. I'm not a contrail (chemtrail?)freak but by golly it's good to see some more Texas postings. The few who do post openly were starting to feel really lonely down here. Getting a little paranoid about lurkers, etc.

I follow this forum religiously and very seldom see much from Texans who post on Texas issues although it's starting to pick up some. Lots to say about what's going on in our great State. People down here just seem to have forgotten how to communicate. Gotten an little chicken (not chicken little) I guess.

Keep up the good work.

I'mSo, you really were not missed here during your recent absence. The harassment level went down quite a bit. It was nice. In your case, Silence Is Golden.

-- Lurkess (Lurkess@Lurking.XNet), February 28, 2000.

I am curious about the "con/chemtrails". Have you collected residue from these spraying? Have you noticed anything after a "trail" on the trees or ground...wet/powdery/oily/other? Have you noticed any dead or "sick" wildlife/(birds especially would be vulnerable)? Someone mentioned a "mine-canary" in this scenario, as birds dying from toxic gasses. Are you yourself ill from being sprayed with ?-----?

Curious about these trails! (I'm not espousing or denouncing the validity of these con/chemtrails til I see some hard, verifiable evidence).

-- WhoMe (WhoMe@nowhere.home), February 28, 2000.

They were all over Dallas today also. Don't post much about them anymore because of negative feedback. Today was MUCH Heavier than normal "Spray Days", however...FWIW!

-- Larry (Rampon@Dallas.net), February 28, 2000.

They do spray over washington. I saw it done on cpan, out the window. Strange, so I don't think it is the government. Remember Clinton got sick after he was in Florida, then I heard Ted Kennedy was in the hospital with some type of flu like virus illness. I think our government doesn't know anything. Better look to cooperate interprises.

-- ET (bneville@zebra.net), February 28, 2000.

George

I watched them from the southeast all day today, La Grange area. This was the first time I actually saw the "grid" pattern. Unbelievable. They were perfect squares. Amazing how they turn a perfectly clear sky cloudy.

-- me (looking@up.net), February 28, 2000.

George,

Thanks for the update on the locations, and the compliment. I'm quite familar with the areas you described, but I didn't see anything like the "classic" chemtrails today(never seen any in person either; just photos on the 'net).

I did see a strange cloud formation low over downtown Austin as I was going home. Imagine a jet contrail that was breaking up and becoming real sparse at a very low altitude. Or even better, a line of snow clouds like a ribbon in a prefect blue sky that are breaking up, at low altitude. Is this a chemtrail?

Can't say too much about plane activity, but ever since Bergstrom became a civilian airport. I've had an increase in overhead activity in my neighborhood. I know, this is a loaded topic, but it truly is happening here on an almost daily basis: Dark Helicopters.

Gentle with those flames, folks. If you wanna see 'em, hang out near Saint Ed's for any length of time, and look west. You'll see 'em in the mornings.

Dunno if there black; I'm color blind.

Dark, military(some Chinooks, those big twin rotor things, and lotsa little squared off single prop smaller ones. They've got something that looks like the smaller ones parked on display out at Camp Mabry; dunno what they're called. Dark, angular, and nasty lookin')-styled, and flying WAY TOO LOW over my neighborhood. Average once a day, usually in the morning and sometimes in late afternoon on weekends. My neighbor next door is home all the time, and says they usually don't show up in the afternoons during the week.

No reason for these things to fly over here; Mabry is nowhere nearby, and they probably aren't headed to Bergstrom! To be fair, I kinda wonder if they are special police 'copters, looking for evidence of "grow rooms" and small home farming interests. Really, the only logical explanation that I can come up with for the frequency and low altitude of their flights is that they are searching for something, and they still haven't found it. Been going on for the past 4 months or so.

Haven't seen 'em dump anything, either; no smoke, chemtrails, powder, or nuthin'.

Anyone suggest a good digital camera for less than 400 bucks? My wife would love one, and I could get good pics of these things and download them here. I've got a PowerMac; any suggestions on a camera would be wonderful, and maybe y'all could help shed a little light on what exactly these things are(or at least what type of helicopter).

Peace,

Don

-- Shimoda (enlighten@me.com), February 28, 2000.

I've been seeing cross-trails every day for months and months here in Austin now.

I've been pondering whether it's a visual point-of-reference for weather/intelligence satellites, whatever.

Course, could be just pilots bored out of their skulls. Sitting in traffic on 183, they are an interesting distraction :)

Note: these are not commercial trails. Or, if they, are, I'm ready to book passage on those joyrides, as these babies trail straight down/up with some dicey-looking angles.

-- lisa (lisa@work.now), February 28, 2000.

Has any one of you chemtrail nuts EVER heard of increased hospitalizations after spraying? Crops dying? An increase in Killer Bees? ANYTHING that is reportable in something other than an anecdotal "Billy Bob's asthma seems worse than normal" format?

I'd like to take this cr*p seriously, but please, show *some* kind of objective evidence.

Paid .gov shill, Chemtrail division,

-- Someone (ChimingIn@twocents.cam), February 29, 2000.

Well, Someone,

Last I heard, it was possibly to spread the flu. Now we need a new theory, I guess.

And the witlessness of the whole ridiculous thing is this: Not one poster has ever cobbled together a coherent motive, organization, or shred of evidence of malicious result.

No sirree--we jes' look up, see strange contrails, call 'em chemtrails, and realize they GOTTA be bad. It's hilarious, although sobering, to watch people reassure one another that they must be on to SOMETHING.

And they (lurkess, e.g.) NEVER want it questioned.

-- I'mSo (lame@prepped.com), February 29, 2000.

They always seem to fly right after a cold/cool front has passed..

How about that.

-- A.T. Hagan (athagan@netscape.net), February 29, 2000.

To answer the DC question, numerous times these trails have been seen by various people, including recently (and I posted it) me, in Northern Virginia suburbs, just outside DC. They have also been seen in Maryland, just outside DC. Many of TPTB live in these suburban areas.

ImSo, if you visited this website many months ago, you would have seen numerous intelligent, rational people posting their sightings, just as they have on this thread. And there were PLENTY of links to other websites devoted solely to the subject of chemtrails. In these you would find the results of lab tests on the substance found on windshields, leaves, and elsewhere, after sprayings, and it was very frightening. If you visited these websites, you would see, literally, thousands of photos (so many that one site cannot display them all at once!) of trails that are NOT just normal contrails. They are in patterns, such as the big XXXs I saw over NoVA in December, or like a grid. They hang there lower than contrails and for hours on end, which contrails cannot do. They gradually seep down towards earth in sheets, which contrails do not do. The photographs speak louder than a thousand words. They even show aircraft spewing out this stuff, and NOT just from the place where contrails originate.

Then read the history of our own country's history of experimentation on its citizens. Then come back here and try to be nasty...or contrite.

-- Elaine Seavey (Gods1sheep@aol.com), February 29, 2000.

ImSo, yes, you may question a poster; however, belittling, intimidating, and ridiculing queries are not appropriate. And this is what you have been doing on the chemtrail and other controversial topic threads since the day you arrived on this forum.

I've replied before to several of your questions directed to me personally; however, there have not been responses from you to my replies. Things seem to get quietly dropped.

I'll ask you for a third time: What happened to the highly respected investigative reporter Dorothy Kilgallen? How about opening that can of worms?

Waiting for your reply....

(Please note: this response is also being posted on a subsequent chemtrail thread of today's date 2/29/2000. Don't have the title, but want to make sure ImSo gets it.)

If you look really close you can see the spray cans in this guys hands

-- Ivan (workin@ntherailroadallthelivelong.day), February 29, 2000.

FWIW, heard on a net audio program the other day that there has been a dramitic increase in URIs (Upper Respiratory Infections) this year. The figure was ten thousand (10,000) deaths over the statistical norm.

-- Lurkess (Lurkess@Lurking.XNet), February 29, 2000.

Sorry, Ms Lurkess--I'm in a hurry. Fuller answer tonite.

Those of you who believe chemtrails are sinister are naive to the extent it is hard for a thinking person not to consider you fruitcakes. Never heard of that lady Kilgallen. I am sure whatever happened to her was dastardly, though, in the context of your question, and especially with the catchphrase "highly respected" tossed in for good measure.

More later; I work late and get up early. I may post on the most current chemtrail thread, so please look there.

Regards,

and still lame,

Dang! Redeye, you beat me to the Contrail link. I was busy searching my bookmarks, guess I should clean them up. To any interested, I relay what I have seen in Florida. Perfectly clear morning, very high flying aircraft start to systematically fly while white plumes of vapor(?) trail behind them. The vapors I remembered from once upon a time, ALWAYS disappeared in a short period of time, and still do, from some aircraft. Well some days, with this blitz of flying and trails, those things don't go away. They eventually blend together to form a white, lace like cloudy blanket. And within three hours of this continuous flying, the sky is a cloudy blanket. I swear I have seen them fly at an almost straight up angle. But someone told me it was an optical illusion, but I don't think so. So I try to reason with "self". Other people say these are commercial air lines, okay, if that is the truth, why are the flying helter skelter some days, and not others?. Some days the sky traffic is light, with no plumes. Don't the commercial airlines fly the same routes every day? they publish their flight route (pictures) in their magazine. The route must not change very much. I have never witnessed any of that white gooey stuff the site claims. I don't know what that vapor is, if anything. I only know it turns a beautiful clear day, to overcast. I have watched it. Your turn to start watching and help figure it out.

Many chemtrails over Fresno, California yesterday between storms. No one seems to notice. Turns clear blue skies into haze. Wake up unbelievers. You need to start looking up once in a while and pay attention. ...sdb

From: Y2K, ` la Carte by Dancr (pic), near Monterey, California My ChemTrails Page

"Someone" asks: Has any one ... EVER heard of increased hospitalizations after spraying?

My first chemtrail post, in early June last year, discusses hospital crowding mentioned on the local evening news due to upper respiratory problems described as being "like pertussis." The problem occurred in the San Jose area just after spraying in which had been reported reported on various chemtrails pages.

My own son's illness coincided with local spraying. At the time of onset of his problems, we had never heard of chemtrails or of anyone else being sick and we had not noticed the chemtrails. We only discovered afterward that there had been various reports of local spraying on the day when he first became ill.

At the time I discovered the online information about chemtrails I was not seeking en explanation for my son's problems. I was studying about Y2K and came across the information by chance. He was quite ill for several months. It gradually subsided, but even now, ten months later, he will occasionally have a spell.

Hope this answers your question.

-- Dancr (addy.available@my.webpage), March 01, 2000.

East Texas area. Was out Sunday morning early (7 am) in a clear blue sky walking the dog. After returning from early church service, out walking the dog again, happened to look up to see 2 or 3 planes making trails (maybe 11 am). Some trails had been there for quite awhile and were feathering out; the new ones were straight lines in grid and "X" patterns. The pattern went from horizon to horizon all directions.

I watched for awhile, trying to see if this was what I'd read about as chemtrails. Once in awhile, another plane or two would cross the area without leaving any trail. Then I remembered about people getting sick from being outside watching for too long, so went in.

By late afternoon, the whole sky was hazy, with no "regular" looking clouds, just the spread-out trails.

I don't think I became ill, but did notice an increase in what I thought were my allergies and arthritis symptoms. Just reporting this for what it's worth -- don't have any real answers or guesses. It's just the first time I've seen this for myself.

-- Kathy (kathyp@airmail.net), March 01, 2000.

trails in OZ today--how could real condensation vapor hang visibly for hours in stripes way across the sky--NOT in my opinion. Toto we are still in Kansas and got sore throats mysteriously. Big question is--how can so many of these covert cloud makers be cleared by air traffic controllers?

-- gl0ria (watkins@dtc.net), March 02, 2000.

Austin Trails Part II: Another cool front passed last night(3/2/00)and this am 10-12 high altitude aircraft with their signature trails were again visible. These were apparently a combination of commercial(dissipating trails) and military??not or slowly dissipating to form lacy, wispy looking clouds. Did anyone else in the central Tx area observe this?

-- george (jones@choices.com), March 03, 2000.

Noticed an unusual number of east to west and vis-versa trails yesterday. Very few north to south. Kinda looked like a giant golden checker board during our famous West Texas sunset. One would have to be blind, deaf and dumb not to have noticed the latice work in the sky over West Texas yesterday. God Bless us all...

-- Bob (bob@pmiv.com), March 10, 2000.

You know, I don't normally subscribe to the 'conspiracy theories' that are bandied about on this site, but I have to say, after following this thread with some initial skepticism and humor, I actually could believe that you folks in Austin are seeing actual chemtrails....

...It would, after all, account for the increase in trailer parks and a substantial decrease in the Intelligence Quotient in the second largest state in the country....
