I am encouraged that nobody has asked yet what the topics for the exam on Thursday are going to be. I took this as a good sign.

Just for those who haven't quite followed the flow: We are finishing up Chapter 10 in the book, already assigned for some time. The course notes give some additional explanations. Work, heat, entropy, free energy, reversible and irreversible processes are what we have concentrated on during the few weeks after the last exam. We will conclude the discussion tomorrow, and those would be topics for the coming exam.
