For those of you who has successfully make SVCD using I-author software, can you please list down the steps in details of what is the correct procedure to create a CIF file from this software. I am having a problem with it. It will either telling me that the mps file is not a trackfile, if i don't have a bmp file for a menu item. Or it will just simply error out with an unknown error while accessing an unname file during muxing the bmp file. Please list out what should go where and what format during the creation of a SVCD in the wizard setup. Muxing the mps file and the bmp file using stand alone options which are provided with this software went smoothly, but creating the CIF file is a pain.

I can't even get this far. I don't understand the whole muxing part.. when I make an mpeg2 file... it alreayd is a stream, so I have nothing to... MUX... but i-author won't exzcept this file... it has to make it's own mpeg2 from a video file and an audio file but I don't know how to do this. HELLLLLP.

I got the I-Author software licked now :) on ward to more SVCD making. The problem i am getting now is editing the clip. Man this is not getting any better is it? The Mpeg2 clip is huge! 15 min = 0.5Gigs! This is almost as bad as AVI!
