I think my SX-70 may have sprung a light leak. Any ideas on how this can be corrected?

I don't have a solution for you except to send your camera to Polaroid to repair. They usually do repairs on SX-70's for around $50. If you call Polaroid's 1-800 number they can connect you with the camera repair division.
