I am an Artist and a Amateur Photographer. I have been scanning my images into Photoshop 5.5, where I enhance and manipulate them and than print them on either fine water color paper or transfer them to fine japanese or other exotic papers. My images are mostly from outdoor sources, i.e. landscape, flowers or animals but do take occasional indoor shots. I am looking to buy a good digital camera and can't decided on Nicon CP 950 or Olympus C2500L and would like feed back to finalize my decision.

I have a 2500l. !st digial camera that I have used and like it very much.I think it takes better pictures than my Nicon 35mm.It is automatic or completly manual.It has two macro setting and can take shots as close as .8 inches.This camera is easy to use because of the way it fits your hand and is very lite weight.I can use it along with my video camera to get a mix of still shots and live shots with the video camera.I like the way you can zoom 2x or 4x times after you take your shot for viewing through the LSD.
