bloodshed, let me put it out there to you. i am the oddball here.[nothing new]. everyone else, when they start to imagine extensions of monster rancher themes, they identify with the monsters. they basically take the monsters off the ranch, and put them into the great wide open, borrowing liberally from the myth of the cartoon.

am i the only one who identifies with the trainers? imagines that this world, of training monsters among humans, could be the real one? tries to identify who could be the trainer of, say, catalina or goatrek or liquel, and what their reaction is to being stalled at a or b level?

here's something else. those people in the stands. how bloodthirsty are they? do they gamble on the outcome? head to head, like sports bets, or paramutuel, like horseracing?

in mr1, the monsters got fan mail - not the trainers. yet, if this were a sport, in today's society, the trainers would be the stars, like d. wayne lukas or bob baffert; or like sigfried and roy with their white tigers.

as you see, my imagination takes me to a different place than most people's.
