Why is the w = -3.43? Can't it be found by pv=nrt using the volumes to calc w = -pdV? If so I got a different answer.

work is only done when vaporizationoccors and when vapor expands as temp increases. Therefore you need to find volume at 100C and 140C usingV=(n*R*T)/P
and know that volume of 1 mol of liquid water = 0.018L
w=-PdV(liquid to vapor) - PdV(100C to 140C)
w= -(1atm)*(30.6L-.018L) - (1atm)*(33.9L-30.6L) = -3.43
say if you need more help
