Lucy's mom

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ER Discussions : One Thread

Did any one else notice her hand when she was talking to Cater? As Mrs. Knight was asking Carter if it hurt, she had her hand on her own neck. I thought that was an interesting thing for her to do. And od course Carte lied and said it did not hurt. He did not want Lucy's mom to sufer any more pain.

I noticed that Carter and Lucy's mom could not maintain eye contact with one another. Everytime she looked at him, he looked away and vice versa. That interview must have been so hard on Carter; he's trapped with her answering questions that he would rather not.

I did not specifically notice her hand, but I am glad somebody finally mentioned Lucy's mother. I thought it was a great way to show that they do still care about Lucy and they did not altogether forget about her. I was in tears when she started cleaning out Lucy's locker. It was a great scene and I'm glad they chose to wrap up Lucy's story this way. Every scene involving Mrs. Knight was touching and well done.
