web updates

I know how much work is required to keep up a website and I am, in no way, denying that. However, it is also difficult to prepare for a test when the answers for the examI as well as, the answers for the homework questions have not been posted. Please don't deny that either.

I don't want to in any way dissuade people from writing on this billboard. Those that write deserve some answers to their questions and to their requests. As a recitation TA I want to address the repeated requests to put the answers to homework questions and the first exam on the web. As per Dr. Schroder's instruction, every homework question and every exam question have been explained in detail, allowing for students to ask for clarification about any part of said questions in recitation.

On the homepage for the class the recitations are listed as manditory, and thus every student should already have seen not only the answers to all the questions, but also the way the answers were reached.

Yes it would be nice to have the answers posted, but not having them should not be the crisis some are making it out to be.

I also want to reiterate the fact that all TAs have office hours, and students could use this time to go over any questions they might have.

I do realize the point that the TA answering has made, however, I have gone to ALL of my recitations and even to others. It is just frustrating when studying(I live off campus) to know of a question that was on the exam and not be able to figure out a solution because either the question itself, is unavailable or the complete answer is not in front of you. I do realize that TA's have office hours, but also realize that I, as well as some other people I have spoken to, am not a freshman, live off campus, have a family and a job and can not always make it back to school to find a TA.
