What, if any, is the possibility of an aircraft's mechanical or electrical systems (particularly the autopilot system) being affected by electromagnetic solar activity?

I know our sun is now at its peak of an 11-year cycle, and that scientists reported on 2/17 a very large burst of radiation from it. Perhaps there's a disturbance going on that we're not yet familiar with.

Though I may entertain the possibility, I don't have enough technical know-how or information to work out the facts. Does anyone else?
