at first i thought kristin was rubbing it in. then i figured she was just being informative and that is nice.

but it still feels like you're rubbing it in. i'm going through withdrawl. i miss my god.

hugssssssssssssss. its another rainy day in la. when the HELL is it gonna stop raining?

xoxo.erin

i miss my god? lol.

sorry. i just wanted to point out that this WAS a typo :x

have yourself a merry little christmas is really depressing.

-- erin*89 (feelingtornados@aol.com), February 23, 2000.

oh erin, if i wanted to rub it in i would have mentioned the fact that i get 2 shows this weekend and i don't even have to drive anywhere. . . but i'm too nice to bring that up. i was telling a friend about the shows this weekend. his comment - " 2 shows on the same day? won't that be kind of . . . . . boring?" i laughed very hard. i guess you either get it or you don't.

-- kristin (mehitabelx@aol.com), February 23, 2000.

hahaha. two shows in one day - its not boring! but i always like it better when they're spread out because you get to savor the experience longer :]

and you dont even have to drive for them? sod off! - naw, i love the way you brag. i can picture you saying it. you get all cocky. haha. i miss you guys! kristin i was just thinking about sunday in san francisco. hahaha. our REALLY long dinner at houstons? hahahahaha. okay im sorry :x god we were giddy. hm. well hi.

in 96 tori did a lot of shows 2 in one night. For those of you that were witness to my Lesson on Tori 96 was the 'you can hear a pin drop and everyone just cries' tour. (it was a good one too) - i saw her in Phoenix two shows in one night. it sucked cos i basically forgot the first one. but that one kinda sucked (except for that hereinmyhead/bakerbaker/COOLONYOURISLANDthing) so the second show made up for it. everyone should hear her doing Purple Rain on the Harmonium. its like torture.

okay im rambilng. i miss you guys. no one is ever on or posting or anything anymore. Someone! talk! kristin and i are trying here! wait what does jenn* say? "throw me a frickin bone" - at least jill has more posts than me. but im catching up as i post. ok. woo.

im listening to...hole? random. ohh celine dion...

xoxoerin

ps: does anyone have any good music reccomendations? im going dry here. i think ive worn out bloodflowers for a least a few days - and there is NEW OASIS AND SMASHING PUMPKINS on tuesday - but until then? okay im shutting up. and good music reccomendations too :p

-- erin*89 (feelingtornados@aol.com), February 23, 2000.

thanks for the info, kristin! is joe 90 playing first or are the buzz poets? joe 90 better get to do a full set, especially since i'm paranoid i may not get to see the second one and i'm flying across the country for this :) and kris is driving 10 hours... i hope we'll be able to stay awake for the s

-- kathy (countcrow1@aol.com), February 23, 2000.

i knew kristin was rubbing it in. i bet she's going to but all the tickets and turn it into her own private joe90 party. god, she is such a bitch. who does the think she is, having 2 concert right in her home town, and not even having to drive more than 10 minutes?! she might as well just sell her car. not like she uses it that much now.

oh kristin, can you feel my love?! {{{you}}} :)

music recommendations...hmm...i got the macy gray cd recently, and it's quite good. a friend of mine is making me a burned compilation of random things, but i don't have it yet so i guess i can't recommend it since i don't know what's on it yet. um, yeah.

when did whitney houston get so ghetto? i was watching the grammy's. ok, i still am. it's b/c i'm addicted to them. could jennifer lopez be wearing any less clothing? i love rosie o'donnell. there is fiddling now. dixie chicks, i think i'd like their cd. fun video.

i'm going to the museum of science tomorrow. woo!

i had a convo with my parents about boston girls/joe90 and i was all sorts of excited and we talked about music and record labels and struggling musicians and it was like, cool. my parents are cool. hello, ding dong. i'm twenty and i struggle with this concept daily.

can i still be hardcore joe90 if i'm swooning over ricky martin's swiveling pelvis action?

oh gawd, i'm blushing. babble babble bye***

kathy - you must have a macintosh. i see your post got cut off. you need to do what jenn and i do - add a row of ............'s to the end. it's the buzz poets show, so i'm thinking joe90 will open. . . and erin. . . cocky?! me? i don't know what you're talking about. and i never brag. san francisco was fun. we were totally silly and giddy and ridiculous. i want to do it again. and the long dinner at houston's. . . "are you through yet" "no, can we have more tea?" lol. they so wanted to get rid of us. . . jenn, i feel something, i'm not so sure it's love though. ...................

-- kristin (mehitabelx@aol.com), February 23, 2000.

first of all - who the heck are the buzz poets?!

second of all - kathy, how the heck are you going to get your under- 21 fanny into the 10pm show?!

third of all - kristin, will you adopt me this weekend?!

i cant sleep. and its only midnight.

-- ~Jill (beezer6801@aol.com), February 23, 2000.

oh, i forgot music recommendations- erin, get jeff buckley!!! and remy zero. cause they both just rule.

buzz poets are a local pittsburgh group who are very popular there. i'd hear about them constantly when i lived there, but i dont even remember what they sound like, i barely ever actually heard them. they should NOT be on after joe 90 though! that is a travesty. but at least i wont have to stand up front for them i guess.

lol, my under 21 fanny, jill? i have never heard anyone use that word!! do not disparage me, i will find a way to get into that show :) dammit, this is a 5 hour plane ride and then a 2 hour drive from akron... if i dont get in, i will not be happy. at all. but that isn't gonna happen, because i said so.

-- kathy (countcrow1@aol.com), February 24, 2000.

kathy, you should realize by now that i always use words people have never actually heard used in the english language. its a gift.

im sorry im posting so much.

trying to sleep now. buhbye.

hello? hi. sir? ma'am?

its all about the masturbation box.

-- ~Jill (beezer6801@aol.com), February 24, 2000.

okay im so glad ya'all are posting again! whee. and i have quite a few to respond to = first off. i think my beautiful friend is on my list of 'the best song ever' - or my favorite song. its way up there. i made jill and barb listen to it on the way to NJ. i can't go a whole day without listening to it. because its that good.

ok, moving on - jenn* you're addicted to the grammies? oy. they're in the background. in fact..i think my precious backstreet boys are about to lose another award :[ I'm pretty sure Tori lost - again! shes been up for two grammies every year since under the pink came out. hah. Thank god.

i like the dixie chicks :p in a fun way. they've got snappy attitude. they're just sassy. is ricky martin the one that shakes his bon bon? i dont think he's all that hot. its kinda cool that santana won all these awards - my parents see santana at the greek like every october. for like as long as i can remember. he usually plays with los lobos who my stepmom loves. She also always sees Pearl Jam and the Red Hot Chili Peppers everytime they tour. SO i'm kind of used to talking music with my parents. Then theres my mom the beatle/lilith music freak. HAH!

ok babble. but jenn*, you're still hardcore. i think we all win for overthetop hardcore joe90 points.

i want to meet scott weiland someday. i want to slap him across the face and then give him a big hug. does that make sense?

who are the buzz poets?

<<"are you through yet" "no, can we have more tea?" lol. they so wanted to get rid of us>>

hahaha. That soup i had was good. and my mushed potatoes. And that bastard bringing me the wrong kind of tea. you CANNOT put cream in whatever tea that was he gave me. hahahah. oh dude, kid rock is sexy. i dont care what anyone says. trashy or not. he was filming an IMAX in downtown LA yesterday. oy i hate the staples center. I should work there though. i miss working hockey games. i love the sound of skates on ice. i loved working for the mighty ducks. I sat around quacking on my duck call all night. i was a top seller. Can you picture that? erin sitting on her kiosk quacking at the customers all night. hahaha.

Oh jill, just talk about kathys ass. its okay! not her fanny. shes having a be-be anyhow. and she loans gary her clothes.

la la la la leeeeee. i'm in a pj harvey mood lately. shes all sexy and stuff. her voice that is. everything is sexy lately. hah.

kathy - thank you for the reccomendations. jeff buckley and remy zero, but i'll have to pass. I got much exposure to both while on the east coast, and its just not my cup of tea!! i need some triphop i think. my triphop buddy is in spain and he hates everything about the music in spain, so he has no good triphop discoveries to pass onto me. everyone should get Lamb or morcheeba though. morcheebas less than lamb though.

i really like craig armstrong.

okay dude im posting a lot. someone respond. i still need good new music :p

xoxoerin!

-- erin*89 (feelingtornados@aol.com), February 24, 2000.

erin, i am going to have to disagree with you about the "my beautiful friend" song.....i like it and all.....but gimme some "with no shoes" and "you're a big girl now" and i am content. go buy "tellin stories", it rules.

i get to work inventory on saturday night at godiva. im not looking forward to it. someone come rescue me.

i think its time to wash my joe90 shirt. if it shrinks....well....let's just say that would be a bad thing.

i hope everyone is having a nice thursday.

-- ~Jill (beezer6801@aol.com), February 24, 2000.

jill-i washed my joe 90 shirt last night, it didn't shrink (thank god!)

great to see josh and elisa posting, i'm so glad i got to see shows with the both of you. hopefully we'll all do it again soon (in BOSTON so jenn can be there too!)

i've been listening to aluminum a lot this week....i have to say that despite my initial reaction to it, there are some really great songs on it. i love need and 2001 and of course Lift Me Up!

did anyone out there go to the show last night? wasn't it supposed to be acoustic? we need reviews!!!

not much else to say except i miss you all, i haven't quite adjusted to being home yet, i feel strangely disconnected from everything and everyone here. i think my family and friends think i've finally gone off the deep end for taking a week off to go to nj and pittsburgh and ny. i guess they just don't realize that it's all about joe 90 :)

love you guys,

-- sue (suebdobee@aol.com), February 24, 2000.

i don't know about last night's show, but i think today's is supposed to be acoustic.

here is my book recommendation for the year - "History of Shit" by Dominique Laporte. translated from the french. due out in may. it is "a historically and culturally revealing - and entertaining - discourse on human excrement and its impact on society." look for it in bookstores near you.

my horoscope for saturday tells me that i should relegate worries to the back burner and enjoy group outings. i think i will.

-- kristin (mehitabelx@aol.com), February 24, 2000.

im glad im not the only one feeling disconnected from life. :)

im going to rugged boy's house tonite. maybe he'll ask me to marry him, finally. ha ha. yeah, right. i can dream, though.

im sorry if ive been posting too much. i just feel the need to be able to talk to you all as much as possible. i miss ya a lot.

hope joe90 has good shows in maryland*
